Linda Beckman Home  |  Linda Beckman   |   Linda at the Piano   |   Linda in Song   |   Linda Conducting   |   Contact Us Linda Beckman earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree and a Master of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, from Southern Nazarene University, Bethany, Oklahoma. Professor Beckman has taught at John Brown University, Siloam Springs, Arkansas; Oxnard College, Oxnard, California; the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma; and Redlands Community College, El Reno, Oklahoma. Dr. Beckman has performed piano solo recitals throughout the states, South Africa, Brazil, and El Salvador. She has accompanied soloists in Carnegie Hall, New York City, and as well as many other nationally recognized vocalists, instrumentalists and choral directors. Dr. Beckman’s CD, Piano Meditations Plus, contains piano solos of quiet classical standards and some of her hymn arrangements. She is co-author of a set of beginning piano method books, Klav-Ear for Kids.
